Anakbayan-New York is a grassroots, comprehensive mass organization advocating for the rights and welfare of the youth and student community in New York City and surrounding areas. We aim to build unity among Filipino youth -- immigrant, US-born/raised, student, working, LGBTQI, women, artists, etc -- striving for nationalism and democracy and for the promotion of cultural awareness and the advancement of rights, welfare, and social justice. All youth and students are agents of social change, so all youth and students are welcome to join.
