About Filipino-Canadian Association of Saskatchewan, Inc.
FILCAS is a vibrant community organization in the City of Saskatoon. Founded in 1973 with the core objective of preserving and enhancing Filipino Heritage among members. FILCAS serves as the mother of all Filipino organizations in the city and preparing to accommodate the majority of Filipino-Canadian organizations in the province of Saskatchewan. Currently spearheading major Filipino-Canadian activities such as June 12 Philippine Independence Day, Sports Tournament, Philippines Pavilion-Folkfest, and Filipino-Canadian Annual Christmas Party.

-To provide outstanding leadership and assistance, while promoting and preserving Filipino Culture, encouraging youth and a stronger community.

Our organization has been in existence for over 40 years and mainly due to the dedication of our volunteers. As the Filipino population grows not only in Saskatoon, but also in almost all parts of Canada, we see the value of having the leadership and cooperation among cultures and help with building a stronger community. We are thankful to the dedication of our members and the leadership of our Board in making sure that FILCAS represents the many aspects of our society. One of our main goals is to preserve and share our Filipino culture with everyone. Our organization aspires to establish partnership with community organizations creating cooperation, peace, and harmony.
