About LEAD Filipino

Leadership, Education, Activism, and Dialogue (L.E.A.D) Filipino is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization driven by the hearts of students, adults, and families based in San Jose, California.

Organized to increase FilAm civic participation, grassroots leadership, and community action. We believe in the tenets of social justice and advocate for fair access, equity, representation and service to the common good. Our advocacy is focused on advancing civil rights, racial equity, and economic stability with connections to FilAm experiences. Since 2015, we have provided critical services and programs to educate and uplift the leadership of Filipinas/xs/os in our community. We continue to work with hundreds of students and families through our educational programs, provide technical assistance, and distribute thousands of dollars in financial assistance to low-income community members.

Through the powers of education and knowledge generation, LEAD Filipino seeks to advance the involvement and increase the representation of Fil Ams in civics, public policy development, and public service.
